Happy closing day to Diego and Paula! I’ve never seen two first time home buyers without a single worry! They closed a fully financed loan in under 2 weeks!!! It was a full team effort but I’d like to contribute the speed and efficiency to Caroline and Dina. Without some amazing women in my life I would just be a stand up comic that knows Atlanta. Living with extended family and/or friends is nice, but it gets old really quick. That’s why Alex and Melody were ready to get their own place together and start creating their own memories. They wanted somewhere close to the amenities metro Atlanta has to offer, yet, with a country feel. Melody even said on our first day of looking at properties..”I would like somewhere where you can have chickens”. Huh? Well, believe it or not, the house they bought was completely re-done, inside and out with a great, large fenced in backyard on a country road. We were greeted by the neighbor’s chickens in the backyard. You can’t make it up! It was meant to be. They closed a month before Thanksgiving and will be serving Turkey, not chickens!
Everything happens for a reason. After not getting the house they thought they wanted, Diana and Thomas pulled up their boot straps, stayed positive, and wouldn’t you know it, a better, bigger house became available for the same price 2 weeks later. They jumped on it!! Thomas and Diana even lost each other once in the house while touring. True story. From Michigan, via Las Vegas, the healthcare professional and her card shark husband are thrilled to be out of their apartment. They deserve it all and it’s great that they were able to put down permanent roots here, along with their teenage son. Congrats!!
Congrats Will and Allison Bates! Will, being an Atlanta United Academy coach, and Allison, being a Project Manager for a financial company, both know the importance of planning and timing. Well, they planned this perfectly, navigating their lease expiration timeline, work timeline and summer travels to squeeze in their home purchase just in time. The Bates wanted a fenced in yard for their dog, Luda, and a house with room to start a family. All boxes got checked and rumors are they will be putting the extra room to good use this summer. Congrats to the Bates family on all of it!
Congratulations to Quentin!! I wish I bought my first house in my 20’s!! Q is a recent UGA grad, videographer, avid sports fan and world traveler. The only thing missing last year was a place of his own. Thinking ahead, Quentin tasked us to find him something within budget, close to his work “gigs” at UGA, but also close to the happenings of the ATL. Well, done and done. Not only did he find a great house, but he was also able to share it with some college friends as well. Smart on all accounts, Quentin. Well done. A special thank you to his mom and dad for supporting him and being part of the process with the team.
The McCulloch family completed the “Three-Peat”! Harrison and Chelsi purchased their family home through The Beeman Group in 2019, and then completed the always tricky, sell and buy at the same time in 2022. This family, full of children, in-laws, grand pianos, toys, animals and sports equipment pulled off the near impossible during a time of limited inventory and massive competition. The family decided to re-evaluate what is important to them, so they made the move to the country. They were able to secure a beautiful property, with plenty of room for all, rolling hills, running streams, and plenty of land, all in a quaint town with great schools and a tight knit community. I was thrilled to help them find their “forever home”.
Well, I’m not sure if there is a nicer, more loving and genuine family than the Zocca crew. From Michael and Naticia to the three kiddos, they were a joy to work with. Our journey together consisted of nights, weekends and in between. The amazing part is Michael juggled that while doing drop off/pick up duty daily at the kids’ schools in VERY different locations. The children all had a say in the potential houses and were with us for all the property trips. I am happy to call them friends, all of them. The Zocca’s now have a great home in a great neighborhood with a pool across the street. Mom and kids’ schools are now much closer. Way to make it happen!! Family effort.
Congratulations to our Georgia Tech PhD!! With some time left with research projects, classroom teachings and numerous other commitments, Aubrey decided to ditch the rental life and buy a place of his own, close to where he works and plays. With the help of his wonderful parents in New Jersey, Aubrey quickly became a seasoned pro when it came to real estate here in Atlanta. His Material Sciences research will, I’m sure, improve the world for all of us in some way. We were thrilled to help Aubrey and family make the next step here. Watch out for those cars while zooming through Atlanta on your bike Aubrey!
The Beeman Group is having an amazing month and starting with an amazing closing with my oldest daughter Kailee! I can’t begin to explain how proud of her I am! She graduated high school and started college during COVID. Throughout these difficult times she showed amazing strength and developed uncanny life skills and work ethic that will take her far in life. Kailee congrats on becoming a homeowner at 19!!! We lost on one property but got this home on the rebound. This market is challenging however sometimes good defense can turn into great offense.
